ANAMU designs utilize the timeless beauty of vintage and forgotten items to create new treasures. With an immense love for flea market shopping and an appreciation for the things of yesterday, I began to buy and collect vintage items at an early age. There is simply something intriguing about pieces that have been around for years, have their own stories, and best of all, have the potential to be admired and adored in a new life. Outside of working with items that can be repurposed, I enjoy taking cues from the things that surround us everyday. Be it old materials, buildings, or traditions, The Old Inspires The New channels these ideals into infinite possibilities.

Guidance from visionary teachers and inspiration from an eclectic mix of outlets really had a positive impact on my personal development and outlook on life. I strongly believe that all children should have opportunities to express themselves and be exposed to the world of art. ANAMU is committed to supporting Create NOW, a Los Angeles based organization that transforms the lives of high-risk and at-risk youth through creative arts mentoring, education, resources, and opportunities. Create NOW has done an amazing job of connecting children of local shelters, schools, and community centers with caring volunteers and mentors.
